Argüelles
Because Arguelles makes ü smile.

You’ll love this...
It’s equal parts vibrant central barrio, and laid-back Madrid charmer. It’s a happy place to be.

But you won’t love this...
School is out, and your favorite bar just filled up with twenty-somethings. So what, get amongst it.

Will I like living here?...
We think so. Arguelles is for everyone.

Framed to the west by Parque del Oeste, it’s an easy walk to the city centre, the campus, the bar, or club. Pastel facades and French balconies, picturesque plazas and parks. It’s lively, but in no great hurry. Cute cafes on tree-lined streets, art-house cinemas, and cheerful restaurants (try Tabernícola).

Not satisfied? You’ll be neighbours with Moncloa and Malasaña. 2 of the coolest.

And if you’re bored...
Golem Cinema: Skip the big blockbusters – catch an indie flick instead at this cute little art-house cinema. Google rating: 4.⅘ And this Google review nails it: ”I'm going tomorrow but I have great expectations, so I’ll give it 5 stars!”. – Cool, but that’s not really how reviews work.

Anything else?
Locations this good don’t come cheap. But you get what you pay for. And what you pay for is very nice indeed.

And did you know?…
If you’re a worshipper of Egyptian gods, you’ll love the Parque del Oeste, where you can find an actual Egyptian temple. The Templo de Debod, which once stood on the banks of the Nile, is truly something to behold. The best way to do thy beholding? With a beer you bought from the friendly backpacked beer vendor, and the setting sun for company.

* Universidad de Comillas * Parque del Oeste- Temple of Debod * Universidad Politécnica * Universidad Complutense de Madrid * Plaza de España

Getting to and from the airport...
You can take a taxi from Madrid Barajas International Airport. It will cost you roughly €30 and 25 minutes.
