Be careful choosing an apartment if you’re going to ESCP. It’s located in Charlottenburg, a suburb about an hour outside of Berlin. Unless you live near campus, you’ll have quite the commute.
Even though you won’t be in the center of Berlin, you’ll find lots to do in Charlottenburg. The Charlottenburg Palace and the surrounding gardens are worth a visit. Or visit the local farmer’s market.
This is a great area for students. The rent is more affordable than in the center. Also, there’s a calm atmosphere that is great for focus. On the weekends, pop into town for a concert or art show.
