Spotahome's opinion
This 13 m² studio apartment, available to rent on Rue Balard in Javel in the 15th arrondissement, is bright, welcoming, and has been recently renovated. The studio is compact, but well equipped, and everything is contemporary. There is a double sofa bed, lots of shelving and storage for all of your belongings, and a foldaway desk.
You'll be living in a very attractive area of the city, close to the Seine, and full of parks and tree-lined streets. There are several concentrations of restaurants and cafes nearby, so there's always somewhere to dine out, and there are plenty of local amenities, including a pharmacy nearby, and a Carrefour City supermarket.
What we liked the most
- You have doors opening to the street, making the room very bright. Just don't look down!
- There's loads of storage in the apartment, so it won't feel cluttered.
- Nearby is Parc André Citroën, where you can go up in a helium balloon and get panoramic views of the city.
- There are loads of restaurants and amenities in the area.
Things to keep in mind
- This apartment is on the 6th floor of a building with no elevator.
- The toilet for this apartment is shared with other studios on the same floor, and is in the hallway.
- There is no Wi-Fi. You will have to contact a provider directly to have it installed.
