You'll love the functionality of this space. The living area is set up with comfort in mind, and the sleeping area is separated by a very cool feature wall. It really flows.

We think this apartment would best suit professionals looking to live central, in Madrid's most upscale neighbourhood. Salamanca to Sol is under 20 minutes by metro, and everything you need close by.

Your top 3 reasons to rent this apartment:

  • The separation between the living and sleeping area creates just enough privacy.
  • There is an A/C unit for heating and cooling for year-long comfort.
  • The fantastic location, surrounded by museums galleries and top shopping.

But you need to know this...

The kitchen doesn't offer a huge amount of space to move around. Not an issue for just 1 or 2 people, but you might not be hosting any large dinner parties any time soon.

This is a beautiful studio apartment on Calle de Lagasca, Madrid. Fashionably furnished and modern, with functionality in mind. The living area is cosy and comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped.

This location is perfect for professionals looking for a slice of sophistication in Madrid. Museums (including the National Archaeological Museum) and shops, bars and top restaurants— Salamanca's got what you need.

What we liked the most

  • Having separate living and sleeping spaces — using a wardrobe to divide the living space means you get the privacy of a 1-bedroom apartment.
  • Cranking up the A/C in summer, and switching to heating in winter — you'll never need to drag out those moth-eaten jumpers or the old fan.
  • Shopping on the weekend — the ABC Serrano Shopping Center offers a range of shops to check out.

Things to keep in mind

  • There are a few decorations that will be removed before you move in — all the more space to bring in your own knick-knacks!
  • Wi-Fi is not installed in this apartment— the internet is such a drag these days anyway.
