This is a lovely ground floor, 2-bedroom apartment on Calle del Pinar del Rey, Madrid. It has room to spread out, an ensuite in the master bedroom, and pretty courtyard views.

We think this apartment is perfect for a postgrad or professional couple. Explore the quieter side of Madrid, but still have access to the city centre by Metro. Smoker? You're welcome here.

What we liked the most

  • Enjoying the convenience of an ensuite – sweet alright.
  • Having space for out of town guests – the convenience of a 2nd bedroom can't be beat.
  • Catching up on reading on the way into town – it takes about 30 minutes on the Metro.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is no oven in the kitchen.
