We think this property is commuter heaven. It's budget friendly and trains leave from Catford and Catford Bridge every half an hour to Charing Cross, which is only 20 minutes away. Ideal.

This is a 3-bedroom flat on Faversham Road in south-east London. It has a well equipped kitchen, three cosy bedrooms, and bonuses like parking, a dishwasher, and a washing machine for laundry time.

It is perfect for those who want to save money. Catford has great public transport connections and hasn't yet been hit by the tide of gentrification affecting many other areas in London so remains nice and affordable.

What we liked the most
