Torrino
Your residential home in Rome
Overview
A quiet place to live in this busy city is hard to find. But if that's what you're after, then welcome home.
Torrino. It's a far cry from the roaring streets of central Rome. It's leafy, residential, and borders EUR, Rome's big commercial district.
While north Torrino is a bit EUR-lite, the south is purely residential.
You have winding residential streets lined with trees. All the shops, cafés, and restaurants you need for a comfortable stay.

What can I do here?
Live like a Roman. Seriously, Torrino is the perfect place to become an adoptive local. With its quaint terraces and cosy cafés, you won't find a tourist in sight. Nice.
You are not too far from the 54-square-kilometre State Natural Reserve of Castelporziano. It has a manor house, woodland, rivers, and a beach. Perfect.
There are plenty of little local restaurants to choose from. Towards EUR, you'll find elegance and the high-end. Further south, the rustic and the local-friendly.
Typical Roman fare is delicious. But sometimes you fancy something a bit different. Head to Haiku on Viale Avignone. Good-quality all-you-can-eat sushi for €15 per person. Sounds ideal.
If you live in the south the neighbourhood, try Da Bucatino. It's a local hit. They serve up excellent seafood, traditional Roman food, and mouth-watering pizzas. Yum.
Shopaholic fact
Euroma2, the shopping centre in the north-east of Torrino, is the largest in Rome. It has 230 shops and measures over 51000 m². Spendy!
