Milan is a two-faced wonder. Modern and sharp yet classically Italian. Fast-paced but traditional. Effortlessly contemporary and proudly mature. The pizza and pasta are excellent, the osso buco (braised veal) is better.
(Note: the regional Lombardy cuisine is well worth exploring.)
