Gallatarese / Trenno are places for the day-to-day. They’re places to come home to.
That’s not to say there’s nothing at all here though!
Feeling sporty? Check out the Lombardia Uno sports centre or stroll around one of the area’s parks.
If you’re hungry, head over to Convito restaurant. It’s cheap, high quality, and sometimes has live music.
Bonola shopping centre is the most important building here. It’s filled with shops such as United Colours of Benetton. Shop on!
Brutalist fact
Architects often talk about this area. Gallaratese has an apartment complex called Monte Amiata. It’s also known as the “Red Dinosaur”. People’s opinions on it are divided - they either love it or hate it! We’ve had some heated debates about it in the office!
