Corsico
Your home in the suburbs
Overview
Corsico.
It’s welcoming. It’s suburban. It’s homely.
Technically, it’s a separate town from Milan. But it’s still easy to reach the city centre by train.
Here, you’ll find parks, schools, and kindergartens.
It’s not the place to live if you’re looking for a vibrant nightlife with lots of bars and clubs. It is the place to live if you’re looking for a quiet area where everyone is a community.
What can I do here?
Take a stroll through one of the area’s many parks. Parco Giorgella is perfect for families with children. It has swingsets, roundabouts, and monkey bars.
For something for the big kids, visit Bowl Corsico. It’s a small skate park in Parco Travaglia. In the words of Avril Lavigne - here’s to never growing up!
Head over to Fontana dell’incontro on a Sunday. The pretty little piazza here hosts an organic market every other week. Perfect for your grocery shopping!
And for somewhere to eat, we’d recommend Ristorante Antica Macelleria. The meat is all amazing quality, and for a reasonable price, too. Don’t believe us? Try it and see for yourself!
So that’s Corsico.
It’s nothing fancy, but it’s a nice place, with a community spirit. And you could call it home.
