Corsica
Sub-Student City

Overview
Corsica is a small but important Milanese district.

To keep things simple, let’s look at the letter C, for Corsica!

C is for compact. Corsica is pretty tiny. Just 1km in length, in fact. Don’t worry though. You’ll find everything you need here.

C is for central. South of Citta Studi and east of Duomo, Corsica is a hub for students and professionals alike. Don’t let its size fool you, because a lot of people want to be here.

C is for convenient. It is 30 minutes to the city centre, 20 minutes to Politecnico di Milano, and just 15 minutes to Milan Linate Airport.

C is for calm. Here, you can expect tree-lined streets a peaceful atmosphere. Although popular among students, the size of Corsica means it isn’t much of a party town.

C is for Corsica. Come on in.

What can I do here?
Corsica is named after its main road, Viale Corsica. It’s the best place to pick up your shopping and find some bargains.

Sporty? Lombardo Tennis Club has 8 courts to enjoy. Ace!

This is Italy, and Italy means wine. Tut a Post is a winery with food to accompany the best reds, whites and rosés. Enjoy, and get dizzy for us!

Students - make your way up to Citta Studi. That’s where you’ll find your peers for lectures and alcohol.

But no matter how small the area, there is always a great restaurant to enjoy. And Corsica just happens to have some fantastic choices.

Shannara is a seafood specialist with succulent shrimp.

Ayce 12 is an amazing sushi restaurant, with some of the best presented dishes you will ever see.

A little further away, but well worth the trip, is Blender Bar. And they are big on everything - including whole pigs on the bar. If you don’t go home full, you’ve done it wrong.

Tiny fact
You can walk from the top of Corsica to the bottom in roughly 10 minutes, and from the left to the right in about 8. Jog, anyone?
