Buenos Aires
Shopping, shopping, and more shopping

Overview
Corso Buenos Aires is the main attraction here. It’s one of Europe’s longest shopping streets.

In the past it was home to small local shops. Now, it’s full of international brands. Sephora, Lush, and Zara to name a few.

Not a shopping fan? No problem.

You’ll be near theatres, museums, art galleries, and parks too. There’s plenty to keep you occupied.

What can I do here?
Shop ‘til you drop!

Living right beside a kilometer of stores is a shopaholic’s dream. There’s every brand you could ever need, and almost every brand you could ever want. The only problem? You might need bigger hands to carry all those bags.

Shopping is hungry work, we know. Luckily there’s plenty about to sate you. We recommend Il Caminetto. It has authentic, honest, traditional Italian food.

Take a short walk over to Porta Venezia and stroll through the Indro Montanelli park. Wide paths and shaded lawns. It’s the perfect place to have a picnic and people watch. Sit under the trees and soak up life.

The park also houses Milan’s Natural History Museum, and Italy’s largest and most important planetarium. Spend an afternoon walking through the history of life on earth, and your evening flying through space. It’s an experience you’ll never forget.

For an injection of culture, stop by Elfo Puccini theatre. It shows 3 different plays every night. Is there a better way to spend a weekend?

Fun fact
The name Buenos Aires was given to the street to honour Argentina. At the same time, the Metro station was named Lima to honour Peru.

Why? The 2 countries received over 5 million Italian immigrants between 1881 and 1911. Welcoming!
