If it’s time to escape city life and get back to your natural roots, Buccinasco is the place to be.
Surrounded on all sides by lakes, parks and streams you can’t help but recharge your batteries as you enjoy nature.
Buccinasco is a relatively untouched part of Milan, and a number of its farmhouses still exist, some working, some repurposed. This gives the area a rural and organic vibe.
However, you’ll only be 7km from Milan city centre, so don’t feel like you’re detached from the rest of the world!
What can I do here?
Buccinasco is all about the outdoors.
Take a walk through Parco della Resistenza to see the gigantic mid-lake fountain. It has turtles!
If you have children in tow, go one of the many play parks.
Maybe you like tennis. Check out the Milago tennis academy. 9 courts and 3 different surfaces. Ace.
And guys, there’s an indoor go-kart track if you want to burn some rubber. Head to Dromokart to get racing.
Sweet tooth? Try Milanopane Srl. It’s only a small place, but big on cakes.
But if you want the whole shebang, go to La Fabbrica dei Sapori for your an all-you-can-eat sushi and fish buffet. Tasty.
