Peckham
A quirky and creative life, with a strong community spirit.
You’ll love this…
Peckham is fast becoming one of London’s most popular and entertaining neighbourhoods. There’s a thriving art scene to explore, with cool galleries and some of the best Graffiti in town. The nightlife is bangin’, with quirky and super trendy bars, rooftop cafés with city views, and a smorgasbord of multicultural cuisine to satisfy any craving.
But you won’t love this…
Are you hip enough? If the hipster scene isn’t your cup of tea, perhaps look somewhere else. Or hike up those jeans, tuck in your T, and get amongst it. You are hip enough.
How do I get Around?
There are plenty of buses in the area, and railway stations serve both the National Rail and the Overground lines. However, you won’t find any Underground stations in this part of London.
Will I like it here?...
If you’re looking for a cool new flavour every week, then you’ll love life in Peckham.
Really? Tell me more?...
Peckhamplex is a popular independent cinema showing an eclectic mix of indie flicks and big budget blockbusters. It’s a grubby joint, and the floors are sticky from 1,000 spilt slurpees, but the ticket prices are the best in town.
What can I do here?...
Lots today, and more tomorrow. In the time it takes to book your next apartment with Spotahome, at least 1 new cafe has opened its doors... and its first open-mic-spoken-word-night is next Thursday.
I’m still not convinced…
Need specifics?
Okay, sure.
Check out Four Quarters on Rye Lane. They have an excellent (and vegan-friendly) menu, an alcoholic slush puppy, and tons of arcade games from the 80’s.

Pulp ficti.. fact. Pulp fact:
The song 59 Lyndhurst Grove, a famous B-side by the band Pulp, was written after singer Jarvis Cocker was kicked out of a party at that Peckham address.
