But you won’t love this...
If you want raves, nightlife, or excitement, you should probably look elsewhere. That said, you are a 22-minute drive from the city centre – so the party is within reach.
Will I like living here?...
If you’re a student, you’re in luck because Dublin City University ain’t far.
If you love flowers (does anyone not like flowers?), you’re even luckier because the National Botanical Garden is here.
And if you like sport mixed with history, you’re luckiest of all. At Experience Gaelic Games, you can learn to play Gaelic Football in a safe, fun environment. Get down and dirty...
And if you’re bored...

And this Google review nails it:
“That was an enlightening experience, as I hadn't realised that really good wine could be made from Strawberries and Raspberries!”. -- What about mayonnaise or tomatoes? We demand nutritional equality!
Anything else?
You can find Glasnevin cemetery here. It’s the most notable burial site in all Ireland, the final resting place for 1.5 million people (including literary legend Brendan Behan.)
Tour the Glasnevin Cemetery Museum to learn more about the lives of the people buried here.
And did you know?…
The Gravediggers pub (John Kavanagh) has been open since 1833. And in all that time, no singing or dancing has ever been allowed. Even U2 were told to stop playing when they visited. I wish every pub did that.
The late Anthony Bourdain visited this pub on the TV show The Layover and was quoted in his review saying “Heaven looks like this”. Pretty impressive, eh?
