There is a room to rent in this cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house on O'Sullivan Avenue in the North Inner City. The common areas to be shared with the live-in landlady include a living room, kitchen and bathroom all of which are well-equipped with modern appliances. The stylish kitchen boasts an oven, 4-burner stove and microwave as well as plenty of bench and cupboard space so you can cook up a storm.

The city centre is around a half-hour walk away, so you don't need to go far for work or study. Closer to the house there are several restaurants and a couple of bars within a 10-minute walk, so on those nights you just don't want to cook there are some great options to eat out. There is also a pharmacy and supermarket nearby, so you don't need to trek into the city centre for the essentials.

What we liked the most

  • The house is close to public transport, so you can easily get to the city centre if you need to.
  • This house has a garden accessible from the kitchen so you can relax outside on a nice summer day with the live-in landlady.
  • The bathroom has stylish tiles, and a shower over a large bath as well as a toilet and sink.
  • The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook including plates and pots.
  • There is central heating to keep you warm in the colder months.

Things to keep in mind

  • The live-in landlady has pet cats, and you will be required to look after them when the landlady is away.
  • The bedroom to rent is upstairs.
