This bright studio apartment for rent on Avenue Ducpétiaux is on the 4th floor. There are two tall and wide windows. One is in the kitchen space and the other in the living area. Although this is an open-concept studio, the kitchen is set a little bit back from the rest of the space. It’s fully equipped with lots of storage. The bathroom is cozy and includes a shower stall. The living area window overlooks the street. This cute room is furnished with a sofa bed and a couple of additional chairs, a wardrobe, and a 2-seat dining table.

Saint Gilles is a large neighborhood with art nouveau buildings here and there. The Horta Museum is a 15-minute walk down the street. It’s not the only museum in the area. You’re also living on the edge of Forest Park, where you can walk, jog, or read a book at your leisure. There are a few restaurants and breweries nearby. You’ll find a bakery and supermarket around the corner. And you can shop for various items at the Midi Market, held at the Brussels-South railway station every Sunday.

What we liked the most

  • The bathroom is tight, but the rest of the studio is spacious enough.
  • Large windows bring in plenty of natural light.
  • There is a peaceful park minutes away from your door.
  • You’re a 20-minute tram ride from the city center.

Payments & steps before check-in:

  • Deposit:
    • 2 x months’ rent + 2 x months’ flat fee + 2 x months’ utility bills.
    • The tenant must add a 2-month furniture fee to the deposit if specified in the property's additional payments
    • By bank transfer: The deposit must be paid & received by the landlord at least 24 hours before check-in!
    • By cash: The deposit is paid directly to the landlord during check-in.
  • Check-in/out Fee: €75 each (€150 each on holidays/Sundays).

  • All your communication during your journey will be done exclusively via RentYourNest

Check-in/Check-out

  • Check-ins/outs: Between 10 AM – 4 PM only.
  • Check-out dates must fall on the 14th or the last day of the month.
  • The landlord will confirm the check-in meeting time depending on their availability after the deposit is paid and the contract is signed.

Utilities

  • Washing machines (if available in the property) require coins to operate
  • Excess utility usage will be deducted from the deposit at the end of your stay.

How to book
