You enter it through the fridge of a pastrami shop - yup, you heard that right. Just that alone is enough of a reason to give it a try!

This is a wooden turntable, used in the late 16th century to drop off babies to the orphanage located in the building. Yup, you heard that right. And no, it’s not functioning today.

This might be the oldest garden of the city, but it’s one of the most underrated Barcelona attractions. The place looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale book. The reason it’s so well-hidden it’s because they only let in 750 people per day and the entrance is either €2.23 or free on Wednesdays and Sundays.

It’s truly an unusual sight for Barcelona, but absolutely remarkable!

Barcelona's street art

This one is a must-visit for any photography geek that’s looking to spice up their Instagram portfolio. Joan Fontcuberta’s installation is called ‘The world begins with every kiss’ and it represents a large photomosaic made of 400 smaller photos. It’s one thing to look at it from up close, but a whole different thing to see it from far away! You can find this particular piece at Plaça d’Isidre Nonell.

Barcelona is full of exciting street art that's well-worth walking around the city for. You'll be surprised at what you can find!
