Where is ESIC?
ESIC, one of Spain’s most renowned business schools, is located in the Pozuelo area of Madrid. Pozuelo is a wealthy suburb to the west of the city. Like at the ESADE school in Barcelona, many students choose to live in the city and commute to campus. Although it is farther out from the city center, there are many buses that will bring you to ESIC. The following neighborhoods are closest to Pozuelo and will give you the easiest access to your school.
Best neighborhoods in Madrid for ESIC students
Moncloa
Moncloa is a popular neighborhood for young students due to its proximity to many major universities. Just a short walk from the trendy area of Malasaña with busy shops and restaurants, Moncloa also borders the lovely Parque del Oeste, which has a cable car that soars over Madrid towards Casa de Campo (Madrid’s largest park) and the ancient Egyptian Templo de Debod, a scenic place for students to relax outdoors on the weekends.
From Moncloa, take the Bus A, I, or H from Ruperto Chapi until you get off at Campus Somosaguas. It is only a short walk from there to ESIC campus.

Chamberí
Chamberí is a very nice neighborhood that is safe and quiet. Home to the beautiful Parque de Tercer Depósito, also known as Parque Santander, Chamberí’s location is great for students because it’s close to the city’s trendiest neighborhoods – Malasaña and Chueca – and is well connected by public transport so you can move around the city with ease.
You can get a better of idea of Chamberí’s two main areas in the videos below made by the Spotahome team:
Trafalgar & Almagro
Cuatro Caminos & Rios Rosas
To get to ESIC from Gregorio Marañón or Alonso Martínez, take Line 10 to Príncipe Pío and get on the C-7 or the C-10 Cercanías trains there. After getting off at Pozuelo, you can walk to the ESIC campus.
