1. Brockley Market

Located just next to Lewisham College, this award-winning market features some of the best-looking vegetables and the most delicious food. Maybe I’m biased as I used to live in the area and visited the market every Sunday morning – totally worth it.

Did someone say Halloumi Fries? We have @oli_babas with us this Saturday serving these @brockleymarket

But did you know that this is one of the cheapest London markets ever? According to LondonTown, you can find 60 local shops and 80 stalls here, full of every kinds of food.

3. Notting Hill Farmers

Sure, you’ve probably heard of this one. After all, it’s just a step away from everyone’s beloved Notting Hill. But how many of you have actually spent more than 15 minutes in this scenic market and browsed through a river of stalls? They call it the local’s best kept secret and we think it should stay that way.

4. Twilight Market

No, it doesn’t sell Twilight books.

This brand new Walthamstow-based market doesn’t follow the regular rules. It runs every Thursday between 4pm and 10pm. Yep, it’s not a Sunday market. Not even a Saturday one. We’ve never heard of a ‘Thursday market’ before but that’s not the only thing that makes it special. Along with fantastic food, it also features themed events and new traders are welcome to participate!

Where is it? Walthamstow, North East London

5. Whitecross Street Market

Located in Islington, Whitecross Street Market is largely underrated, however the locals would prefer to keep it this way. You can find some of the best quality and best in general street food here – perfect for taking your tourist friends on a market experience they’ll never forget. Bring your camera!
