This 1-bedroom apartment is available to rent on Carrer del Marquès del Barberà in El Raval. The attractive apartment is filled with modern fittings and furnishings, and measures a spacious 42 m². Everything has been recently refurbished, and has a stylish and minimalist finish. The living room has a large sofa-bed and a dining table to seat 4, so the apartment is great to entertain guests.

The apartment is located in a narrow street which is typical of El Raval, lined with shops, restaurants and bars. From here is just a short walk to La Rambla, Barcelona's most famous street, with its long pedestrian path dividing it in two, and terrazas sprawling its entire length.

What we liked the most

  • The compact kitchen is superbly equipped, and even has a washing machine.
  • We love the original wood beams in the bedroom and exposed brick wall in the living room.
  • For a bit of culture, look no further than the Gran Teatre del Liceu, a couple of minute's walk away. This opera house is 170 years old.
  • If you don't want the crowds of the more famous Rambla, head to Rambla del Ravel, a couple of minutes away. A plethora of restaurants and bars await you.

Things to keep in mind

  • This apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building which doesn't have an elevator. There are also "bajo" and "entresuelo" floors, which makes this floor effectively the 5th. Time to get those quads pumping!
